Hi Marie, Thank you for commenting on my work. The skin on the "Blue Hat" girl is actually flesh tone. However each monitor is different and yours may appear more red. That's why when a person buys one of my paintings if they are not happy with it they are welcome to return it. I want people to enjoy my work and be happy. Thanks again, come back for another visit.Alston
I'm happy you stopped by. I hope you will enjoy your visit and leave a comment on any or all of my work.
If you will leave me your e-mail address I will e-picture you my latest work while it's still wet on the easel. I might even send you a work in progress.
A little art with your morning coffee or tea.Or perhaps with a relaxing libation in the evening.
If you like my work please tell a friend and come back often for a visit. I look forward to seeing you.
It was after completing my business career and raising my children that I was able to devote myself and my time to my PASSION for oil painting. I am primarily self taught, I bascially taught myself to paint because I told my sons " you can do ANYTHING if you want to do it badly enough" and since I ALWAYS wanted to paint I decided I should set the example by doing it. And words can not say how much I love painting.
I am creating educational coloring books for young children. I am frustrated seeing the lack of education our children are getting. I think children learn better whenlearnig is fun, therefore my coloring books.
I really like your girls in the big hats. but the blue hat face seems really red, is it just my computer ? Marie
